The rumours became true last week as Kanye West co-directed, directed or even hosted the first ever inaugural Pornhub awards.

Attendees were treated to an exclusive fashion show and dance performance that displayed the latest in West's Yeezy brand. Many of the adult stars and eventual award winners donning his custom apparel.

A few minutes after the porn stars had appeared on stage. West appeared on stage and in typical fashion had no problem ensuring his artistic vision was satisfied.

West has had a firm presence in the media of recent. One recent highlight being his openness about watching Pornhub on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. When asked if becoming father had changed his views on women, he replied: "Nah I still look at Pornhub." Whether this inspired his collaboration with Pornhub hasn't been confirmed. One thing for certain is that West's creative resume is ever increasing, should we really be surprised?

Kanye's influence proceeded his fashion show. With the winning adult starts being awarded with alien phallic inspired trophies. This was confirmed in the following press release. "Kanye has designed a bespoke erotica-inspired award statue for each of tonight's unique categories. In line with the futurist theme, the award statues represent imagined alien sex toys."

The show looks good on camera. However, the show was saturated in technical difficulties. Apparently West being one of the variables that actually went to plan. That's a rare occurence in itself! The award ceremony struggled to hold the crowd and award winners everyone slowly migrated towards the bar.
