hard to stay in place due to tail.
I've used cups for many years and love using them. I like that they send you both sizes so you can see which fits best as the size of the cup DOES matter when fitting around your cervix. Picked these up due to quality silicone and great sale price. The shape of the tail, while very cute, makes it tricky to get situated in a way that the tail won't catch on your vaginal opening and poke you (even though it's soft silicone) or potentially unseat the cup. Recommend trying one of the other designs.
I am a frequent user of menstrual cups.
But this one doesn't unfold! It doesn't matter how I rearrange it or myself, it doesn't pop open and so the blood just shimmy past it.
It's cute, no doubt
It's cheap.
But it doesn't work.
Whale is cute but tricky.

My first time trying cups and I would definitely suggest you take your time and don't give up too soon! It takes a bit of practice and maybe a few months to get the hang of it. These were very soft and flexible which makes them easy to insert, plus Satisfier quality which is always good. Not sure about the whale tail though - it does make them easier to grip when slippy, but the asymmetrical aspect means they can twist around and sit a little weird, with the tail digging into the sides. Maybe I just need to keep practicing? Next time I'd get the regular, round ones and see how they compare. No irritation though because they're so soft and flexible. Overall 4/5
