Admittedly I did nearly break it when I first opened it as I wasn't sure if I was supposed to take the tip off to fill it, but I soon learned that it just sucks up the water through the tip.
The material on the squeeze part of the cleaner is great to grip while you complete your duties, so there is no worries of dropping it while doing it. Its very easy to clean (I used the foaming toy cleaner) and it does the trick great.
